IDEFICS is a prospective cohort study with an embedded intervention, including eight European countries (Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Sweden). The general purpose of IDEFICS is to understand how to prevent overweight in children while considering its multifactorial etiology.
